A/C System Performance - Ideal Vent Temperature
Question:  I have a very simple question that I could not find an answer to: What should the air temperature be (at a duct output) when the A/C is operating properly at its maximum setting?

With ambient temperatures above 75°F,  we like to see our center vent temperature at least 30°F colder than outside (ambient) temperature.
We measure ambient temperature four to six inches in front of condenser opening, and we operate the system at 1500 RPM with front doors open, A/C set to MAX, and blower at high speed.
