Questions about charge pressures. Not sure at what rpm to check the guages? Idle, 1500? A friend told me to use idle, and shoot for 30-35 low , and 170-180 high. what should the pressures do as I change engine speed-ie-from 800 rpm(idle) to 1500? (do I use the 2.1x ambient temp high side?)

what are indications of a blockage somewhere? And whats the best way to flush a system? do I need to remove all the components from the car to do this?

Backround: Just installed new compressor, added mineral oil, 3 0z's. charged low side to 33. (high side guage not working, getting new one today.) Vent temps at night (ambient) high 70's low 80's is 46. Daytime high 80's vents in the 60's. replaced leaking valves, no other leaks. new dryer installed. old oil looked brown, friend said don't bother flush, or change expansion valve. I'm going to flush and do this the right way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to a/c.

Thanks B
