Many of those cars have RPM sensors in the compressor. An undercharge, or loose belt are usually the cause. If you have a tach in the car, try disconnecting it under the hood, and see if it still cycles off..If not, and it continues to cool, thats your problem..Have the belt checked and pressures taken....Hope this helps..
