I just bought some new a.c. equipment a few days ago and was wondering if, on the the r134a gauges when removed from the a.c. system (system that was being checked) should I bleed the pressure off the gauges. I also have new r12 and a r134a recovery recycler system,. should I bleed the pressure of those gauges too. I would think that you would not want the pressure to stay on the gauges all the time but I could not find any information in the books. I was just wondering. And if I did let the pressure off. wouldn't air get in the lines or the system which is not good. Thanks for any help anybody could give me!!! George
