Year: 1995
Refrigerant: R134 I have a 1995 Volvo 850 and have the dreaded evaporator leak (2-3 week leak) Replacing the evaporator is no doubt the way to go- but the cost ranges from about $1,200 to $1,600(dealer). If I want the pain- I could replace it myself for about $425 in parts and the cost to have a shop vacuum and recharge the system. Question: Anyone heard of a product called Cryoseal? Is it the best stop leak? If not- what might be ? Would love to postpone the real repair another year. Thanks
