also keep in mind the liquid that enters the evaporator boils (vaporizes) at minus 40 something degrees F So the high pressure in the system rises the boiling point to return the vapor to a liquid state (condenses it) The low pressure drop past the metering device lowers the boiling point of the liquid in the evaporator so it vaporizes again, and warm air migrates to the cold evaporator which removes the heat from the air and the fan blows the cool air into the car.
