Very unusual for a NEW compressor to be bad plus those pressure sound pretty good and should produce some refrigerant effect. I think chick hit the problem on the head when he mentioned the blend door. Pinch off both heater hose lines to the heater core out in the engine bay so no hot coolant circulates thru the heater core and see what you get on your AC vents after it runs for a few minutes, if you see a big drop you will need to take a closer look at that area, could it possibly have been your problem all along?
