George,

I have a 96 Chevy Express van with additional rear a/c. Was R134a from factory and a/c was still working as well as it ever did.

The van is parked outside (Baton Rouge) and I had to dismantle the a/c system because it was the only way to remove a six yera colection of leaves.

Now my concern is that I have moisture in the system I can't really get rid of by vacuuming. I can do the work (I only work on my own stuff but I have all the tools I need).

Simple question: Is the change to Cooltop really going to prevent moisture damage and will the system really work any better?
