Adding "pusher" fans is a common practice to help out R134a
poor performance...

Hours and hours of vacuum wont do much to get more moisture out
of PAG/POE oil like it did the old mineral oil. It would take
"months" to boil out all the PAG oil... what happens is that
some PAG and moisture would first get into the vac pump oil,
causing it to pull a weaker vacuum, so it would self limit.
Getting water out of PAG is like trying to "distill" ethanol to
200 proof... You can only get it to 190 proof.. since 5% water
will always remain (50,000 ppm).. You need to be below 50ppm in
your a/c system.

Depending on the condition of your current dryer on the system
(it must have been pretty good, since your car has lasted
this long)... it may be able to absorb the extra moisture
ingested. No easy way to prove it did or didnt.. Putting on
a "new" dryer is more often than not likely to be already "wet"..

Either Cooltop.. or just adding Cryo-Chem "Tune air" kit
will add Dry-PAK and neutralize 3 hours worth ingested moisture...
Both have exactly the same silicone based Dehydrant (Cryochem
SS02A).

The Cryo-Chem kit is probably 4oz of R134a with some dry-pak
in the size of an oil charge can...and can be added to a running
system without messing anything up.
