I have a 96 VW passat with 134a a/c. This summer its cooling slowly deteriorated and now I am left with no cold air. I know there must be a small slow leak, but I would like to recharge it for now until I can afford to find and fix the leak.
I know JC whitney sells the recharge kit, but is it as easy as just topping up the system using guages of course)?
Should I inject the oil/refrigerent that comes with the kit or just use straight 134a for recharge?
How much refrig will I actually need?
What are the high and low pressures?
Any help is appreciated!!
