So far I never had a need for one.
But from what I read they do work well in 134a systems.COOLTOP has 134a in it and it just may add more cooling to COOLTOP.
COOLTOP will not drop the 10* with a EPR system so you may want to mail the maker of the VOV and ask if it operates in the same manner.
Really works good on cars that heat up at idle.
