I beg to differ. The R12 and R134 can still be purchased legally. No idea about the Free12 though. Although R12 is no longer manufactuered in the USA it is still readily available. It is just way overpriced due to the taxes associated with it purchase. And R134 is the so called environmental replacement for R12. R134 is used all the time in new equipment.
