I am sold on the HC's. I did have some doubts about the safety untill my incident. You might remember about 2 months ago I posted about me charging my system and the hi side line split with 185 lb. pressure and it spewed all over the running engine that was hot and spark plugs sparking and alternator making electricity. There was no fire or explosion.
If I remember correctly there was a fire concern when r-134 was first used. I infact read about fires in new cars equiped with r-134. These fires resulted after an accident and the system broke open. I wish I could find some of those articles.
