The company that I am a distributor for, DURACOOL, has a $500 million dollar insurance credit. There has never been a safety complaint. Duracool is an HC, but the very high flash point and chemical compostion makes it so that the likelihood of an accident is practically nonexistent.
Most HCs will be much safer than 134 or Freon, given that they are poisonous.
