for a/c clutch coil gone

my clutch coil is shot-will work when re-booted with screwdriver.
my problem is:a/c mech. says if i have 10p155f-no comp. removal req.
but if i have fx-15 it req. a puller etc.he called a ford dealer with the info but they would not provide any info.(policy they say)!
anyhow it is a 1992 3.0 litre ser.#1facps0u6ng122164.
i would greatly appreciate any help on this one.i have already paid
a lot of money towards other a/c related problems in the past with the
