Open the gauges on both the low and high side and pull system into a deep vacuum. At this point with the gauges I use you can shut the valves on the gauges to see if you lose vacuum. Is so you either have a leak in the system or a leak in the gauges. If you lose vacuum follow what I posted above to determine were your leak is if no leak is found in your system you may have a leak with you gauges.
