Put your gauges on. Hook up vacuum pump. Open both wheels on gauges, turn vacuum pump on..pull vacuum. When you reach 30hg turn the wheels closed..nothing more...then shut off pump..watch gauges with wheels closed...no loss of vacuum, hook up refrigerant, open JUST THE LOW SIDE and charge, never opening (turning wheel) on the high side....
