I was retrofitting an AC on 89 Celica for the friend of mine.
We have replaced compressor, drier, expansion valve. Flushed the system, put ester oil, pulled vacuum for an 1.5 hours, charged the system with pyrol r-134a. According to manual the system takes 1.9lbs of refrigerant. So far I've put about 1.2 lbs, it cools down to 45 degrees, but pressures are little high: LOW side 45-19 PSI and HIGH 200-250(260)PSI. I could see the mixture though the sight-glass and it's milk-like color. Is that normal for R-134? I'm not quite sure about adding more freon since the pressure is already high. Did anybody have similar problem before or knows what's going on?
