Appreciate anyones help on this one!

I have a 1996 Corsica that has lost it's charge. I have used an electronic leak sniffer and it is indicating around the front of the compressor, I feel like the front seal is the problem. However, the hoses take a sharp turn and run in front of the compressor, and the area to work in is so tight I am afraid the R134 may be "pooling" in a low spot. I would hate to replace the compressor and it be wasted money.

Does anyone know of a service part that bolts on the back of a compressor to seal it for testing, and provides a service fitting? I have seen it mentioned in HVAC service literature, but never have seen a picture of one, or know where to find one.

Thanks!
Mark
