I need some info on converting a refrigerator compressor to a vacuum pump.
Two questions:
1.)The compressor has 5 lines. One line is crimped/soldered for the refrigerant charge.
One line is a suction, one is a discharge. What are the other 2 for?
2.)How do I change the oil after I use it to excavate an A/C system. Do I need to do this?
It seems that the oil would go bad from the comtaminants in the open system.
Your help is appreciated.
