Thanks, for all of the info. I called J/B and they are going to send me an owners manual, and for free! The pump is not a belt drive model. But I did get a chance to check the vacuum. On the gauge it pulled consitant 29.8's with sometime being a hair over or under. It never quite hit the 30 mark. But I did not run it on the vacuum gauge but for more than a minute or so.
