according to the law you should replace the high side and the low side hose,but most people don't you need a new compressor all the orings need to be changed the system needs to be recyled first for r12 then replace the parts optional chande you reciever-dryer or accumulator system will work colderchange your service valves also take the old shrader valves out before you put the 134a valves on.good luck any questions emailme
