I am replacing the compresssor and dryer on a 93 chev 1500 truck with factory new units. I am thinking of changing to 134a from freon 12. Need to know from pro what is the high and low pressure for freon 12 and for 134a. The vehicle is in south florida and the humidity is 80% + with temps in the 90's. What would you recommend? The system holds 2 1/2 lbs.If I change to 134a then the oil will be changed to PAG 150. Will also be replacing the orfice tube no matter which way I go.
Do you think I will have trouble with any other component, ie hoses if I chang to 134 with the higher pressures
