Year: 78
Make: Chevy
Model: Van
High Side: 175
Low Side: 25
Refrigerant: r-134a
Outside Temp: 73

Sometimes when I start the A/C up after the truck has been sitting a while (8 hours) the compressor will cycle on & off real quick (on for a second off for two) while the engine is warming up at fast idle. It will only do this on a cooler day (low 70's). After cycling like this a couple of times it begins to cycle more normally. Could I be slightly low on charge? The system performs very well otherwise (35 degrees at the center vent while driving on a 86 degree day) This vehicle was retroed to 134 a while back & the system works very well.

Any help would be appreciated.
