On my 89 Isusu the air conditioner works intermittently. The compressor is engaged, but the cold air slowly goes away. I cannot get a gauge on the high side, but the low side slowly goes into a vac. as the cold air goes away. Some times it works fine with a low side pressure of about 30. It seems to work as long as you keep it running, but when you turn it off, the air is not as cold when you restart and then slowly becomes less cold or no cooling at all. I am thinking it may the the dryer breaking up and clogging the expansion valve or screen. Any suggestions?
