Greetings,

I bought the car a year ago. The dealer had to add some ref. to make the A/C temps. O.K.. I just put in a 12 oz. can to bring the performance back. The results, I get, are as following: open doors and max blower setting - 58F (I was told that it should be around 45F); closed doors - 48F; closed doors, min blower - 36F; the same & 2000 rpm - 32-33F; The evaporator incoming temp. - 44.7 F (and I think it cycled by 1-2F) and leaving to the compressor - 43.2F (all taken on the tubing surfaces under the insulation and pressed against).

Would it look like a sufficient performance without measuring the pressures? And, what are the proper pressures anyway? My Haynes manual provides scarce information on the topic.

Should I add a leak stopper since it needs recharging once a year and what would you recommend? I could not detect any visible leaks.

Thank you.
