The product contains a cleaning solvent "glycol ether". This should reduce the viscosity of the compressor oil, not a desirable trait. Often when solvents or friction modifiers are added to a vapor compression system the pressures drop giving the illusion of cooler operating conditions. In the secret world of the additive maker it is all just slight of hand.
