I always recommend finding a local place to do your hoses, but you also have to be very careful. Make sure they weld barbs(not compression fittings)if any old fittings need to be reused. We do the Merkur hoses because the come out more like the OEM look. Every town usually has at least one good hose guy. Sometimes it takes longer to find him than it would to send them to us. Just call around and when they say the do hoses, ask them if they weld barbs or use compression fittings. Make sure they use crimps and not clamps. Now, clamps have worked fine since the invention of auto a/c, but crimps just look better. Good luck!
