Popped on the AC yesterday, and realized the air wasn't getting very cold. Listened for the compressor, and discovered that it was cycling fairly rapidly - on for 5 - 10 seconds, off again for about the same, on again, etc. was able to get mediocre cooling by turning the fan up and recirculating air, but clearly this is not normal. I'm not a shadetree auto mechanic (work on my motorcycles a bit though), I'd just like to go into the dealer understanding some of the possibilities and knowing enough to make sure they did a thorough diagnosis/repair.
Any comments/suggestions would be most appreciated.
