It basically did nothing right with the gas blasting away it, but curiously when I moved the probe, it went nuts every now and then, then fell silent.
Concerned this thing wasn't working right, I first checked to see if the coast was clear of Chick's penguins, then I cracked open the 30 lb tank of R-12 and the thing went nuts as usual. Ditto for the R-134a test.
